1st Solo flight for Ray Langford

December 2nd and a nice flying day, Ray Langford was in first and after a good hour of circuits on

runway 24R Ray was let loose around the circuit on his own, well done Ray the picture sums it up.

We have made a good start on ground school this winter with the following successful exams

passed, well done to all of you.

A great turn out around 50 for this informative evening talk from NATS Collin Potter on NOTAMs

and Alan Burrel on Flight plans.

Swanwick tour Oct 2011

Swanwick NATS D&D visit in October was well attended a very interesting day. We were split

Into two groups and had a good hour in the D&D cell seeing how emergencies and diversions

were handled.

LSFC Xmas Lunch:

We had our 11th club Xmas lunch on sat 17th December in London at MMH in St Jamse’s. We had over 40 members and partners turn up for a great day splendid lunch and fine carol voice. Thanks to all of you for supporting the day.
