29th May - 4th June 2010 Borders Gliding week (or part week)

LSF and the Popham group together for a gliding week.

The Scottish Borders gliding trip at the Milfield Borders Gliding Club this year will be held earlier than normal, the idea is to get better weather and maybe some wave? This is a good weeks gliding, a great way to improve your skills as a pilot, try some spinning etc, and remember that every flight is effectively a PFL.

If you have a PPL and a medical you will probably go solo during the week, in the past we have even had students go solo even before  going solo on powered aircraft.

Come for a few days or even the week, good local accommodation available or camp.

I think we should look at offering our help this year, lets discuss. Steve

· Do some planning in advance of the trip (including ensuring your aircraft is serviceable and will remain current during the outing)
· Is your skill level high enough for the route/destination?
