These are our current cost from June 2010

All costs are based on per person and are all inclusive of include fuel and landing fees

Trial flights will be on our school Eurostar EV97 aircraft. Other training flight will either be on the school aircraft or on your own share owned aircraft, in the case of using your aircraft you will be responsible for the normal operating costs of your plane. The school aircraft includes all landing fees, fuel etc.

Flight training
Training towards your NPPL microlight licence, with an approved CAA instructor. Using a school aircraft	Hourly Rate	£120.00
Training towards your NPPL microlight licence, with an approved CAA instructor. On a Share owned aircraft	Hourly Rate	£55.00
Refresher training, re-validations and bi-annual licence validation flight with an instructor. Note this is a special rate to encourage check flights for share holders only	Hourly Rate	£45.00
Safety pilot course, this is designed for a partner to be able to take the controls in event of pilot incapacity and also to help with normal operation of the flight including navigation and RT.	5 hour course	POA
Licence tests and Exams
General skill test (GST) 3 axis only, will include Aeroplane Tech part 2 (oral test) a pre test brief and de-brief, document check and application form completion. Conditions apply	Test Fee	£125.00
Ground school individual student, this is a one to one ground school per subject, Air Law, Met, Aeroplanes part 1 & Nav. HPL separate if you required. Written exam test extra see below.	Per hour	£15.00
Ground school multiple students (max 4 in a group). Air Law, Met, Aeroplanes part 1. HPL separate if you required. Each lecture will take around 4 hours and will include the written exam test. Note Nav is not included in this this will be done on a one to one basis due to its complexity.	Per subject	£45.00 Per person
Ground school block payment. An up front payment will entitle you to receive as much ground school as you need, when ever you want it either in the group lectures or individually, it will include all subjects (inc Nav) and the exam papers.	One off block	£250.00
All practical exam paper tests, per subject, if not included in your option above	Per subject	£10.00
Radio Telephony ground school, dedicated subject on RT to prepare you for the theory and practical exam and test. Approximate 4 hours. The exam and practical test is separate and can be taken at WAP at additional cost.	Per person	£140.00
Other & Club memberships
Initial joining fee membership to Light Sport Flying Club, membership runs from April to March	Joining fee	£25.00
On going membership fees to the Light Sport Flying Club. Due on or before the 1st April each year, a re-joining fee as above will be applicable to payments after this date.	Annual fee	£15.00
Airways Flying Club. Annual membership to this club is also required in order for us to use the airfield facilities and AFC benefits.	Annual fee	£20.00 or as required
